The Amherst is one of the lightest safety toe shoes on the market today! The composite toe is lighter than a conventional steel toe and is rated ASTM F2413-05 M I/75 C/75 to protect against compression and impact. The sweat-wicking mesh liner and removable full-cushion footbed keep your feet dry and comfortable all day long. The compression molded EVA midsole and nylon shank improve flexibility and help prevent fatigue. The outsole is specifically-designed to be slip-resistant, but is also oil-, water-, and abrasion-resistant as well! Wolverine Electrical Hazard (EH) boots are rated ASTM F2413-05 I/75 C/75 to protect against electrical currents on dry surfaces. Since these shoes are non-metallic, they are security-friendly as well.
